Windows Vista is Microsoft’s latest version of the
Windows operating systems.
The versions of this new operating system, together with its different editions (Windows Vista Starter 2007,
Windows Vista Home Basic, Windows Vista Home Basic N, Windows Vista Home Premium,
Windows Vista Business, Windows Vista Business N, Windows Vista Enterprise, and lastly
the most complete edition; Windows Vista Ultimate).
Windows Vista presents an innovated user interface, a new version of resource explorer
(Windows Explorer) and three different graphical interface (Windows Vista Aero, Windows Vista
Basic and Windows Classic):
Windows Vista Aero – 3D graphical interface, with animation and special effects.
Windows Vista Basic – graphical interface similar to the Windows XP’s visual
style with some animations.
Windows Classic – graphical interface similar to that of Windows XP.
Minimum Hardware requirements:
800 MHz (Processor), 512 MB (Ram - Memory), DirectX 9 capable Graphics card, 32 MB (GPU),
20 GB (HDD capacity), 15 GB (HDD free space) and CD-ROM or DVD-ROM.
